Jalapeno Update

Quick update - last Thursday I transferred the jalapeno to secondary (I tend to find secondary fermenting helps settling out for better clarity in extract brews - less so in my all grain batches).

Before I did, I cut up two more jalapenos and threw them on a piece of aluminum foil on the grill on high heat.  After about 10 minutes, it had a nice black char on some of the skin and the jalapenos had gone soft, so I dropped them into the secondary along with the transferred beer.

Next up - a brown ale brew tomorrow and bottling the jalapeno towards the middle of labor day week (possibly Tuesday).
